Heartwarming to see our guys take charge of their lives and even return to give back

With Seun's permission, we are sharing his story:

Due to many reasons his relationship fails (family and friends) and lack of focus forced him to end up on the streets.

His journey led him to TshepoCDI, where he regained some focus and which he believes, forced him to deal with some of the factors he needed to deal with. During this time he stayed in the Windsor west shelter, while working in the TshepoCDI kitchen and working with the social worker to change his circumstances.

Seun has utilised opportunities that came to him and is currently actively pursuing his goals again. He found a job and came "home" to TshepoCDI in order to encourage the other clients at the service centre to do the same.

We are very proud of Seun and wish him well in his new focused journey.

And as he said, when he comes to visit again he does not want to see any familiar faces, hoping they all have found their own focus.

Seun preaches a positive outlook and prayer and believes that that has made the difference in his own life

Feel good stories and pathways of the streets is why we do what we do. Stories like Seun's are why we keep doing it.

All the business men traveling and staying in guest houses - please donate your unwanted soap and lotion to our voucher shop?

All the mommies doing household shopping add a extra soap, toothpaste or lotion please, and donate to a good cause

Our clients work for vouchers in order to buy toiletries and feel dignified again. Your donation can bring back hope and dignity to a less fortunate human being.

Today we had visitors from a primary school Lear

Today we had visitors from a primary school

Learners who have a jewel for a teacher, who thought outside the box and provided these learners with more than school knowledge.

She wanted the detention learners of her school to do more than just sit detention. She has shown them where their choices can take them.

We are extremely proud of our P2 clients that took on the responsibility and talked to these kids and showed the kids their lived experience.

We believe that the experience brought value to both learner and client today. We pray that it will help to change minds and hearts.

A group of Media24 staff members came to donate some time at the service centre today. They assisted in transforming our container with a lick of paint.🎨🖌️

If all else fails ... Paint it 😜

They also informed us that they have all been retrenched due to Media24 closing down. 😢 Even with this news they still came to donate their time.🙏

Free jumping castle for the kids while mom and dad shops

Dad can wash the car at Northcliff car wash on the premises, while mom can buy some succulents and potting soil for all the gardening that will be happening in the new season 😁
